Metro by T-Mobile is the no-contract subsidiary of T-Mobile that was previously known as MetroPCS. Whatever name it uses, it has some excellent deals on both plans and phones. Apple has some of the best phones in the smartphone market right now and you can save on Apple's most powerful 5G-ready phones. Right now, all of the shiny new iPhone 13 models are $200 off when you sign up for a Metro by T-Mobile plan. That drops the powerful iPhone 13 Pro to $799.99 and the iPhone 13 to $629.99. You can save a bit more on last year's models too, with the iPhone 12 down to just $529.99 and the iPhone 11 is $200 off at just $299.99.

The iPhone 13 devices come with larger batteries than their predecessors. The base model storage has also been doubled, and the Pro models offer up to 1TB of storage. The iPhone 13 phones are also slightly faster than the 12's with the new A15 Bionic. But even if you go with the iPhone 12, you'll get a Super Retina XDR display, Apple's A14 Bionic chip, and at least a dual-camera array. If you choose either Pro model, you'll get a third camera to work with. Now all you have to do is choose your favorite color.
The iPhone SE 2022 is an exception to the promotion, in a good way. It's just $149.99 when you switch, saving you $320 on the retail price.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G is a good option for people that are looking to get on the 5G bandwagon. This deal will put a brand-new Galaxy A53 5G in your pocket for $420 off at just $49.99.

All you have to do is purchase the device and port an eligible wireless number to receive an instant rebate. You can also get a brand-new Galaxy A53 5G for free when you switch to Metro on a qualifying plan and trade in an eligible phone. It's an in-store offer only though, so you'll have to check where your nearest outlet is.
3. Get a free 5G phone when you switch
If you've been waiting for a chance to try Metro by T-Mobile, what price is better than free? Right now, you can pick up a free 5G device when you switch.
All you have to do is port in a number that hasn't been on the T-Mobile network, and the carrier will give you a rebate on the cost of the device. The phones on offer vary quite regularly and the Galaxy A13 used to be one of the only free phones on offer, but now you can choose from five others, including the Moto G Stylus and the OnePlus Nord N200.

Although the phones are free, you'll have to cover the $20 per line activation fee, but that's a small change compared to paying for a device. Like most of the Metro deals, you can only take advantage of the unlimited discount in stores
